About Gentle Genes Pet Care
Our Story
At Gentle Genes Pet Care we are a family-owned business started by myself, a mother of two kids and two furbabies. My own mother has been a breeder and caretaker of dogs for many years, and so I've decided to follow in her footsteps. Our goal and passion is to bring joy and love to the day and life of our furever friends -because they deserve the world!
With our private or group dog walks, pet sitting visits (all animals), as well as other services, at Gentle Genes Pet Care your furry companions are our top priority. We create a safe space where all can get along. We also offer our private one-on-one dog grooming--we make sure your pet feels relaxed and at home, easing anxiety while pampering them as if they are at the spa. :)

Life enrichment & socialization time, offering off-leash opportunities (when allowable) for full play-time enjoyment in a less crowded, natural and safe environment *discounts offered for multiple/repeat days/pets

We are happy to care for them and create a fun day, one-on-one time, offering off-leash opportunities when allowable (if preferred) at beautiful secluded and safe locations *discount offered for multiple repeat days/pets
Other Services
Pet Sitting Visits
For quick pet needs (all animals) which include feeding, litterbox cleaning/poop pick-up, and/or play time an check-up at your home. *no overnights
Pet Transportation
For single or roundtrip drop offs to desired location(s), such as vet visits or family members.
One-on-One Private Grooming
Private one-on-one spa-styled grooming (especially good for those who have high anxiety going to the regular busy groomers) - This includes detangling/de-shedding, haircut and/or bath, and/or nail trim. Prices vary depending on size, service(s) and/or temperament. *non-aggressive/non-biting only, due to one-on-one services
Grooming is held at our location in Pleasant Hill, CA. Kindly share Veterinary information as well as any medical or dietary concerns when booking with us. We are currently servicing the areas of Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Martinez, Lafayette, Moraga, & other nearby locations.
